Biography of Eric Terdjman In 1984 Eric Terdjman began the music by starting with the traditional piano at 8 years old: he obtains the Excellence prize in its home town conservatory, however this musical way will not attract him. He stops the piano after 3 years because the classical music didn't helped him to be able to express its creativity in the way he wanted. Came a period on which he does not make any more music during few years: and at the age of 13 years old, invited by his sister for his own birthday to a modern show "circus with cascades" where a group of music occurred. This is there that he realized that its future will be directed towards the scenic music, and musical creation. The process accelerate, around 15 years old his father offered himhis first guitar (epyphone: a replica of the Gibson SG) , persuaded that that he will not persist to play this instrument.
In the college he met a very talented friend (guitar player) Julien B, and he decided at this time to concentrate on this instrument that fascinated him: Eric was already late regarding his friend performance, but still believe that He could be able to become a good performer. Then another turning point in its musical evolution, is its passage to College Cevenol in the Center of France : living in a small village he discovered the power of the music in its life, it is nowadays a companion of first importance. After this year in Cevenol where he strongly progressed as an autodidact guitar player. He took also courses from Jazz guitar (with Mr. Gerard Curbillon) during one year in order to improve its technique and its knowledge of this instrument. At 23 years with his friend Adrien Glasman he started to record with a mini recording disc, and an Akai sampler the music he had in its mind (instrumental): very quickly he realized that technology allows modern musician to achieve much thing than its predecessor and understood that it is the beginning a great adventure.
